March, 2011
Hello Brian,
I am sorry to have missed your visit to Creston. I hope you accomplished all your visits.
This last group of students has been great. The students were happy and are, the families were happy and are. Last week had another two students leave. Ruth tells me there were a great deal of tears spilling when they left and tears that continues on the way to the airport.
Adella- is a sweetheart, easily warming hearts with all she met. Many people said they would have liked to have had her as their homestay student. Adella herself was delighted that she made Canadian friends at school. Theer were friends that had her over and she even got invited to a birthday sleepover. With her homestay family she went skiing.
Ryan and the Marini family were a great match as Barbara made sure Ryan had lots of experiences, including taking Adella and Ryan to a play day in Cour Du Laine as a farewell treat.
JungEun is loving this family. This family has a new baby boy and sharing this event with JungEun. She has made a friend with Mathew the host brother that lives at his moms house. He is doing a n excellent job at including her with his friends and activities, The Howe family treated JungEun to a special birthday dinner in Cranbrook at a seafood restaurant.
Thank you again for all your help and the great students.
