Heejin's March Report

Heejin has had a fantastic March. She travelled to Tofino, a little
town on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, with her host family during
Spring Break. There the family took part in a Whale Festival, went
whale watching and spent much time on the beaches. Heejin and her host
sister Julianna, spent a few days in Victoria (south Vancouver Island)
visiting Julianna's grandparents. They took the girls to see an Ice
Capades event showing the "Wizard of Oz" on ice. This was a thrill for
Heejin to see! Heejin continues with her tutorial lessons where
emphasis is being placed on her writing skills. She is learning new
songs with her clarinet teacher. Heejin also had wonderful birthday
celebrations here and had a sleepover birthday party with 6 girl
friends from school. Heejin continues to help around the home and is
very willing to help doing outside chores as well. She continues to be
a content girl and is enjoyed very much by the Lund-Carlson family.

희진이의 3월은 무척 즐거웠습니다.
봄방학동안 가족들과 함께 밴쿠버 아일랜드 서쪽 해안에 있는 작은 도시 토피노로 여행을 다녀왔습니다. 고래 페스티발에 참석해서 고래를 보며 많은 시간을 해변에서 보냈습니다. 또 줄리아나와 함께 며칠간 할아버지 할머니를 뵈러 빅토리아에 다녀왔습니다. 아이들은 할아버지 할머니를 따라 아이스쇼 "오즈의 마법사" 공연을 보러 갔습니다. 희진이에게는 잊지 못할 경험이었습니다!

희진이는 요즘 쓰기에 촛점을 맞추어 과외공부를 하고 있으며, 클라리넷 선생님과 새로운 곡들을 연습하고 있습니다. 희진이는 즐겁고 성대한 생일파티를 했으며, 6명의 학교 친구들과 함께 밤새도록 즐겁게 놀았습니다. 또한 여전히 집안일도 잘 돕는 착한 어린이이며, 칼슨 가족들과 즐겁게 생활하고 있습니다.
